Select Objects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before making any changes, you must be in <strong>Selection Mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Single Selection:<\/strong> Click once on any part of your design to select it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multiple Selection:<\/strong> Click and drag a box around multiple parts to select them simultaneously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Visual Confirmation:<\/strong> Once selected, a highlighted rectangle (bounding box) will appear around the object(s). This box contains various &#8220;handles&#8221; (small squares) used for transforming the design.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Move Objects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can move objects freely or constrain them to a specific axis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Free Move:<\/strong> Move your mouse cursor over the artwork (inside the bounding box but <em>not<\/em> on a handle). The cursor will change to a <strong>multi-directional arrow<\/strong>. Click and drag the object to the desired location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Constrained Move (Straight Lines):<\/strong> To move an object perfectly straight along a horizontal or vertical line, hold down the <strong>Ctrl<\/strong> key while dragging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Scale and Resize<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can change the size of your design proportionally or stretch it freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Proportional Sizing:<\/strong>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hover your mouse over any of the <strong>corner handles<\/strong>. The cursor will change to a bi-directional diagonal arrow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click and drag <strong>outward<\/strong> to increase the size or <strong>inward<\/strong> to reduce it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using corner handles automatically maintains the original proportions (aspect ratio) of the design.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Free Sizing (Non-Proportional):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Method A (Side Handles):<\/strong> Click and drag the handles located in the <strong>middle<\/strong> of the sides (top, bottom, left, or right). This will stretch or squash the design in that specific direction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Method B (Corner Handles + Alt):<\/strong> If you want to change both dimensions freely using a corner handle, hold down the <strong>Alt<\/strong> key while dragging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Creating Duplicates on the Fly<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DRAWings PRO XII allows you to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drawstitch.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-to-create-and-manage-clone-objects\/\">clone objects<\/a> instantly while transforming them using the <strong>D<\/strong> key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Duplicate while Moving:<\/strong> Click and drag to move an object. Before releasing the mouse button, press the <strong>D<\/strong> key once. A duplicate will be dropped at the new position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Duplicate while Resizing (Mirroring):<\/strong> You can use this feature to create mirrored objects.\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select an object.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drag a side handle across the object (flipping it).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the <strong>D<\/strong> key before releasing the mouse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This creates a transformed (mirrored) duplicate while leaving the original object intact.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udca1 Useful Tips<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Visual Cues:<\/strong> Always watch your mouse cursor.
