on the shape. These nodes have specific functions for shape objects:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Corner Node:<\/strong> Use this node to interactively adjust the roundness of the corners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sizing Node:<\/strong> This node allows you to change the size and proportion of the rectangle, just like when you first drew it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Center Node:<\/strong> Click and drag this node to easily reposition the entire rectangle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 7: Convert to Curves for Manual Editing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you need to manually change the fundamental shape of the rectangle (e.g., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drawstitch.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-to-transform-designs-move-resize-rotate-skew\/\">move<\/a> one side, add a new point, or curve a straight line), you must first convert it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the rectangle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find and apply the <strong>&#8220;Convert to Curves&#8221;<\/strong> option (often found by right-clicking the object or in an &#8220;Arrange&#8221; or &#8220;Object&#8221; menu).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong> Once you convert the shape to curves, the special nodes for roundness, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drawstitch.com\/blog\/knowledge-base\/how-to-transform-designs-move-resize-rotate-skew\/\">resizing<\/a>, and repositioning will <strong>no longer be available<\/strong>.
