The “Welcome” tab provides direct access to creating a new design and configuring its default settings.

From the “Welcome” tab, locate and click on the “New” design option.

A new project will immediately open with a blank canvas, using the software’s default fabric and hoop settings.

Setting Your Default Fabric and Hoop

To streamline your workflow, you can set your preferred fabric and hoop so that every new project starts with your desired configuration. This is also done from the “Welcome” tab.

While on the “Welcome” tab, navigate to the machine and hoop selection area.

Select your embroidery machine model from the list, then choose your most frequently used hoop.

Next, select your preferred default fabric type and color.

Once set, click the “New” option. Navigate to your file and open it.

Import an Image: To create an embroidery design from a picture, go to the “File” menu and select “Import…”.
